2 hour double feature on Keighley & Worth and North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railways, large standard gauge steam locos working hard with trackside and footplate action.

Plus an hour long period piece made on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in 1990. The NYM needs large and powerful locomotives to surmount its hard gradients with trains long enough to carry the traffic on offer. Then the train meanders through the beautiful National Park to Pickering. The video shows this very well, with lots of shots of the trains and the scenery.

Both previously published in VHS - digitally remastered in 2007, and placed on DVD.
